The week opens with the presentation of Lorenzo Vecchio’s two new books, published by Bonanno (A&B editions): Il regalo più bello. Scritti di cinema and Quando Lorenzo visse a Barcellona. Quaderni e e-mail della borsa Erasmus. The first one is all about cinema and, besides the articles he had already published along with a group of critical profiles, it contains all of his notes about the short films he was going to shoot, these being either simple ideas or outlines. The second is a collection of all the writings related to the months Lorenzo spent in Spain (already published in an abridged version in 2006, as a supplement of the magazine “Segno”), including the unedited pages about an idea for a feature film, and it shows fully the vitality and creativity of his intellect.
Finally the soirée will be brought to a close with the première of LEGO, a short film directed by Antonio Toscano and drawn from an idea by Lorenzo Vecchio.
