If you wish to stay in touch with us and be informed of our initiatives, you do not have to do anything. In this way, you will authorize us to keep you informed. Cookie Policy
The Privacy Guarantor has implemented a European directive that requires website owners to show visitors a banner informing them what the Cookie policy of the site they are consulting is and to make their acceptance conditional upon their continued navigation.
This page describes how personal information is received and collected by ASSOCIAZIONE CULTURALE SCARTI

1 – What are Cookies?

Cookies are small text strings that the sites visited by the User send to his/her terminal (usually to the browser), where they are stored and then transmitted to the same sites the next time the same User visits. When browsing a site, the User may also receive cookies on his/her terminal equipment which are sent by different sites or web servers (so-called “third parties”), on which certain elements (such as, for example, images, maps, sounds, specific links to pages of other domains) present on the site he/she is visiting may reside.
Cookies, which are usually present in the Users’ browsers in very high numbers and sometimes also with characteristics of wide temporal persistence, are used for different purposes: carrying out computer authentication, session monitoring, storing information on specific configurations concerning the Users accessing the server, etc.

2 – What are the main types of Cookies?
A – TECHNICAL COOKIES AND PROFILING COOKIES
Two macro-categories of Cookies are identified: “technical” cookies and “profiling” cookies.
Technical Cookies
Technical cookies are those used for the sole purpose of “carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide such service” (see Art. 122, paragraph 1 of the Privacy Code).
They are not used for any further purposes and are normally installed directly by the website owner or operator. They can be subdivided into navigation or session cookies, which ensure normal navigation and use of the website (allowing, for example, to make a purchase or authenticate to access restricted areas); Analytics cookies, which are assimilated to technical cookies where they are used directly by the website operator to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of Users and on how they visit the website; Functionality cookies, which allow the User to navigate according to a series of selected criteria (e.g. language, products selected for purchase) in order to improve the service provided to the same. Users’ prior consent is not required for the installation of such cookies.

Profiling cookies
Profiling cookies are designed to create profiles of the User and are used to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the User while surfing the web. Due to the particular invasiveness that such devices can have in the private sphere of Users, European and Italian legislation provides that the User must be adequately informed about their use and thus express his/her valid consent. They are referred to in Article 122 of the Privacy Code where it provides that “the storage of information in the terminal equipment of a contractor or a User or access to information already stored is only permitted on condition that the contractor or User has given his consent after having been informed in the simplified manner set out in Article 13 of the Privacy Code, paragraph 3”.

B – FIRST PARTY AND THIRD PARTY Cookies
A further element to be considered, for the purposes of the correct definition of the matter under consideration, is the subjective one. That is to say, it is necessary to take into account the different entity that installs Cookies on the User’s terminal, depending on whether it is the same operator of the site that the User is visiting (which can be briefly referred to as the “publisher”) or a different site that installs Cookies through the former (so-called “third party”).
First-party Cookies
These are those created and readable by the site that created them.
Third Party Cookies
These are those created and readable by domains outside the site and whose data are stored by the third party.

C – TEMPORARY Cookies and PERSISTENT Cookies
Two types of cookies are distinguished on the basis of their duration (expiry):
Temporary (or session) cookies
Temporary cookies do not have an expiry date, and are deleted as soon as the user ends the browsing session or closes the browser.
Persistent cookies
Persistent cookies all have an expiry date and remain on the user’s device even when the user has ended the browsing session or closed the browser. They can be read by the site that created them on subsequent visits to the same site.

3 – What Cookies does this website use?
This website uses technical cookies and third-party profiling cookies.
Technical Cookies
We use Technical Cookies, which are designed to:
– ensure the proper functioning of this website, without which the User’s browsing experience would not be pleasant;
